A turning point for Nigerian professional drivers
Recent reporting says Moove is winding down its Nigerian operations and transferring ownership of eligible vehicles to qualifying customers. The reported value of those vehicles is approximately ₦35 billion. Moove has also said more than 9,000 customers used its Nigerian Drive-to-Own and rental products, with about ₦57 billion in revenue generated through Moove-financed vehicles. These figures describe the broader programme, not the number of drivers automatically eligible for any particular transfer.

For drivers who qualify for ownership transfers, the transition may create new freedom to decide how to use their vehicles and which platforms to drive with. Ownership also brings responsibilities, including documentation, insurance, maintenance and meeting platform and regulatory requirements. We are offering an additional platform choice, not claiming to take over Moove agreements, customers or obligations.
